Our Compression Levels

No Compression
Looks and feels like any other swimwear. No compression fabrics are used.

Low Compression
Helps with support and flattens lightly. It has a layer of our uniquely developed compressing material in the front between the outer layer & the lining.

High Compression
Helps with support & flattening capabilities are stronger. It has a layer of our uniquely developed compressing material added in both the front and the back of the top between the outer later & the lining.

The racer back Flatriver is quite awesome! I have the Flatsea and this is a great improvement on the flexibility with the addition of the racer back cut and the black lining (rather than the white) makes it less obvious when edges flip occasionally. The biggest drawback is the color (maybe caused by the different lining?). I purchased this in navy and the Tomboiers in navy (Tomboiers have white lining) and the colors look nothing alike (this is especially apparent in natural sunlight). It looks like I mixed and matched from completely different companies. Otherwise, I recommend the pairing – great comfort and great coverage.

This top is aesthetically great! I love the androgynous cut and racerback! I ordered a large and it may have been a little big on me, but I felt like the “high compression” wasn’t at all compressive. It felt a bit like I was wearing a stretchy and heavy tank top. Thankfully, I happened to have a compression sports bra that aligns with the back of the flatriver so the flatness isn’t a problem. I love the concept and the look of the product, but higher compression is a must (especially for larger-chested people).

I really love this product. I am an almost 50 year old cisdyke who made a baby in my body and fed her with my boobs. I love that I can look and feel like myself — pretty much like a teenage boy — while doing all my favorite summer activities like running, kayaking, biking, SUP, and swimming.
I am looking forward to purchasing a Swimmee this summer. The Flatriver is a little heavy so it will be nice to have the shorter version for the hottest days or for wearing under a rashguard.

I’m busty and short. I’m a d cup and went for a medium with the low compression. I love the material, I love the cut, this is the first time I’ve ever felt truly comfortable in a swimsuit. My only issue with this is that the next is a little high I just put a little slit in the collar so I don’t choke myself. The next one I’ll get will be the high compression just because of my big boobies.

I love this top, I have two in high compression, as well as the Flatsea in both high and low compression. This top has a slightly longer hem than the Flatsea and the increased shoulder flexibility is nice. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I frequently get trapped in this top when it’s wet and my partner has to release me. I have been trapped so many times that I actually prefer to wear my Flatsea top if alone. On the other hand I LOVE the lovely shiny soft fabric
